Although the weather is looking ominous for the weekend the VTCA has instructed that it will be report to grounds this weekend, therefore we will have training at the ground tonight rain, hail or shine and all team selections will be announced.
As this is our first full selection new club sponsor Souvlakihut Hoppers Crossing will be supplying the food (Cost - $5)
There will also be the annual HCCC Players Auction to raise money for the end of season trip. It’s going to be a tough season to pick the winner with a number of unknown quantities. Will Fawad spin up a storm or will GMac and Alex do the damage with the new ball and limit his opportunities? Will Sheepy and Chippen return to past glories and dominate the lower grades as they push for higher honours or are there best days behind them? Can the old stagers stay fit for a whole season or will they break down and miss games in what will already be a shortened season? Or will it be one of the young guy making a name for themselves like Steve Barlow last season?
Last season the President walked away with the money and we don’t want that to happen again. If there is a group of players you like but you think the price will be too high then get a syndicates together, if you want to increase your odds of winning then get a couple of syndicates together.
Memberships
All players are required to have a deposit towards their membership by the end on training on Tuesday, 25 October 2010 in order to be eligible for selection. Josie will have the EFTPOS machine available again tonight for those who want to pay by credit card but this will be your last chance. Refer to the website for further details.
